Betsy Ross, Executive Director

Betsy has been the Davey Foundation’s executive director since its inception in April, 2013, and has been David Fetzer’s mother since his inception in December, 1982.  She is dedicated to the foundation’s mission of helping emerging artists, and honored to have a part in extending David’s legacy.

Kia McGinnis, Asst. Executive Director

Kia is the first paid employee of The Davey Foundation!  Kia is a writer, photographer and web design student currently living in Seattle. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she got her start at SLUG Magazine at the ripe age of 18 and enjoyed five years of covering music and arts. In addition to the Davey Foundation, she works as a freelance writer and blogger. Her hobbies include zine-making, pie baking, devouring books and doting on her cat.

Ariana Broumas Farber, Intern

Ariana is a student in the Public Administration Masters Program at the University of Utah, interning for the foundation while studying, acting, and being a wife, and mom to Heidi and Shane.  Ariana graduated from the University of Utah’s Theatre Acting program, and acted brillianty in David’s New Works Theatre Machine’s second performance, Ride Me: A Play with Cruel Intentions.  And, oh, she was also a captain in the Marines.
